XGIMI Elfin Flip 4K

The XGIMI Elfin Flip 4K is designed for people who want a big-screen experience without a bulky projector taking up space in their home. It combines 4K resolution, RGB triple-laser technology, and Google TV in a compact design that’s easy to move between rooms. Whether you’re planning a movie night, watching your favorite series, or playing games on a larger screen, it aims to make home entertainment more convenient.

4K Resolution and RGB Triple-Laser Technology

One of the main highlights is its 4K resolution, which delivers detailed images on a large screen. The RGB triple-laser light source is designed to produce rich, vibrant colors, while the rated brightness of 1,600 ISO lumens makes it best suited to rooms where you can control the lighting.

The XGIMI Elfin Flip 4K also supports HDR10 and HLG, helping compatible content display a wider range of colors and brightness. XGIMI lists a wide color gamut of 110% of BT.2020, making color performance another important part of its appeal.

Optical Zoom Makes Setup Easier

Finding the right position for a projector isn’t always easy, especially in a smaller room. The XGIMI Elfin Flip 4K addresses this with a 0.98–1.3:1 optical zoom, allowing you to adjust the picture size without constantly moving the device.

It also includes automatic focus, keystone correction, screen alignment, and obstacle avoidance. These features help simplify setup, which is particularly useful if you plan to move the projector between rooms. It supports image sizes from 40 to 200 inches, although 60–150 inches is the recommended range for the best viewing experience.

Google TV and Built-In Harman Kardon Audio

With Google TV built in, you can access supported streaming apps directly from the projector without needing an additional streaming stick. Google Cast support also makes it easier to cast compatible content from your devices.

Audio is handled by a built-in 7W Harman Kardon speaker with Dolby Audio support. While an external soundbar can provide a more powerful home theater experience, the integrated speaker is convenient for everyday viewing and keeps your setup simple.

Gaming Features and Connectivity

The XGIMI Elfin Flip 4K isn’t limited to movies and streaming. It supports VRR, ALLM, and MEMC, with input lag as low as 1ms at 1080p and 120Hz under specific Game Mode settings. This makes it worth considering if you want to connect a compatible gaming console or PC.

For connectivity, you get two HDMI ports, two USB ports, an audio output, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.2. One HDMI port supports eARC, which is useful if you want to connect compatible external audio equipment.

A Portable Design for Everyday Entertainment

Weighing around 1.55 kg, the XGIMI Elfin Flip 4K is relatively easy to carry around the house or take with you when traveling. Its compact design means you don’t need to dedicate a permanent spot to it, and support for different projection orientations gives you more flexibility when setting it up.

Overall, the XGIMI Elfin Flip 4K brings together 4K resolution, triple-laser technology, optical zoom, Google TV, and gaming features in one compact package. It’s an interesting option if you want a versatile projector for movies, streaming, and gaming without building a dedicated home theater. For the best results, though, a dim room will help you get the most out of its picture quality.
