JMGO N5S Ultra Max

The JMGO N5S Ultra Max is the flagship projector in JMGO’s new N5S lineup, designed to deliver the highest level of performance and technology in the series. It combines native 4K resolution, a Triple-Color Laser light source, extremely high brightness, advanced optical light control, and an industry-leading high-refresh-rate system.

The World’s First 4K 120Hz High-Refresh-Rate Projector

The biggest highlight of the N5S Ultra Max is its 4K 120Hz high-refresh-rate projection. JMGO positions it as the world’s first 4K projector capable of a 120Hz refresh rate, bringing a level of motion smoothness that is particularly interesting for gaming, sports, and fast-action movies.

At native 3840 × 2160 resolution, the projector can deliver 4K content at up to 120Hz, providing smoother motion and a more responsive viewing experience than conventional 4K projectors limited to lower refresh rates. This makes the Ultra Max especially appealing to gamers who want to combine a huge screen with high-resolution and high-refresh-rate gameplay.

The projector also supports MEMC motion compensation, helping further reduce motion blur and improve the clarity of fast-moving scenes.

Dual Iris Light Control

Another major feature is JMGO’s innovative Dual Iris Light Control system. Instead of relying only on laser brightness to control the image, the optical system dynamically regulates the amount of light passing through the lens.

This allows the N5S Ultra Max to better balance brightness and contrast depending on the scene, helping produce deeper blacks, improved shadow detail, greater image depth, and better control of stray light.

The projector features a sophisticated 6-level iris system with an F2.0–F7.0 aperture range, giving users additional control over optical light output. Combined with its powerful laser engine, this helps the Ultra Max achieve an impressive 10,000:1 native contrast ratio and 50,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio.

Flagship Triple-Laser 4K Performance

The N5S Ultra Max uses JMGO’s Pure 3-Color Laser light source and reaches up to 6,800 ISO lumens / 5,600 CVIA lumens. This makes it the brightest model in the N5S lineup and gives it enough output for very large projection screens and environments where some ambient light is present.

It also covers 110% of the BT.2020 color gamut, delivering a wide color range with vivid and highly saturated colors.

JMGO’s MALC 6.0 optical technology further improves the optical system, with the company claiming up to 38% higher overall light efficiency. The result is a combination of high brightness, wide color coverage, and improved optical control.

Flexible Installation and Image Adjustment

The N5S Ultra Max uses JMGO’s AI Full-Control Gimbal System, allowing the projector to rotate 360° horizontally and tilt up to 150° vertically. This makes it possible to project onto walls and screens from a wide variety of positions.

It also provides extensive bidirectional lens shift, with up to ±53% horizontal and ±130% vertical adjustment. Together with the 0.88–1.7:1 optical zoom, these features make the Ultra Max much easier to install and position without depending entirely on digital keystone correction.

The projector also supports Wall Color Adaptation, allowing it to compensate for different wall colors when a dedicated screen is not being used.

Flagship Hardware and Smart Features

Inside, the N5S Ultra Max is powered by the MediaTek MT9681 platform and comes with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It runs Bonfire OS 7 and supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth.

Connectivity includes HDMI 2.1 with eARC, a second HDMI 2.1 port, USB 3.0, and DC IN, making it suitable for connecting game consoles, media players, computers, and external audio equipment.

The built-in audio system consists of two 12.5W speakers, with bass extending down to 35Hz. Dolby Hi-Fi sound and DTS decoding are also supported.
