JMGO O3 Lineup Comparison: Which One Should You Choose?

Thinking about a JMGO O3 projector? We compare the O3, O3 Pro, and O3 Ultra to see how they differ and which one is the right choice for your home theater.

The JMGO O3 lineup brings together three projectors designed for different types of home theater users. While the JMGO O3, O3 Pro, and O3 Ultra share the same overall concept and design philosophy, each model takes a different approach to performance, features, and price. All three are ultra-short-throw triple-laser projectors with a 0.18:1 throw ratio, capable of creating a 60- to 120-inch image from just 0.1–0.25 meters away.

✅ The JMGO O3 is the more accessible option in the lineup and focuses on delivering a large-screen home theater experience without going as far as its more expensive siblings. It uses a 0.23-inch DMD chip and offers native 1080p resolution, with up to 1400 ISO lumens of brightness. Despite being the entry-level model, it still uses JMGO’s MALC 3.0 triple-color laser system, supports features such as autofocus, automatic screen alignment, MEMC, and 120Hz input, and comes with 64GB of storage and 2GB of RAM. It is also the most compact and lightweight model of the three, weighing just 2.4 kg.

✅ The JMGO O3 Pro steps things up considerably. It moves to a much larger 0.47-inch DMD chip and native 4K resolution, while brightness increases to 2600 ISO lumens. The Pro also has 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, and a more powerful 150W laser light source. It keeps the same 0.18:1 ultra-short-throw ratio and 60–120-inch image range, but adds features such as Game Mode, autofocus, automatic keystone correction, and intelligent screen alignment. At 4.4 kg, it is considerably larger than the standard O3, but it also offers a much more serious home theater setup.

✅ At the top of the lineup sits the JMGO O3 Ultra. This is the flagship model, designed for users who want the most powerful and feature-rich version of the O3 series. Like the Pro, it uses a 0.47-inch DMD and native 4K resolution, but it goes further with the newer 472TP DMD, up to 3100 CVIA / 4000 ISO lumens of brightness, and a claimed 20,000:1 contrast ratio. The Ultra also expands the storage to 128GB, adds Wi-Fi 6, and includes a more advanced feature set with HDR10, 3D, MEMC, digital zoom, Dolby Audio, automatic screen alignment, and DeepSeek AI. Its 240W laser light source makes it the most powerful projector in the O3 family.

What Are the Main Differences?

JMGO O3 → JMGO O3 Pro:
The biggest jump is from 1080p to native 4K, along with substantially higher brightness and a larger DMD.

JMGO O3 Pro → JMGO O3 Ultra:
The Ultra keeps native 4K but pushes brightness much further and adds the newer 472TP DMD, higher contrast, more storage and additional features.

JMGO O3 → JMGO O3 Ultra:
This is essentially the difference between an affordable compact UST projector and a much more serious flagship home-theater model.

Which One Should You Choose?

So, in simple terms, the JMGO O3 is about getting the core experience for less, the JMGO O3 Pro is about stepping up to serious 4K performance, and the JMGO O3 Ultra is about getting the most advanced O3 projector available.

If you’re choosing between them, don’t look only at the specifications. Consider your room, screen size, viewing conditions, and how important 4K resolution, brightness, and the additional features are to you. The JMGO O3, O3 Pro, and O3 Ultra are built around the same idea, but they target different levels of the home theater experience.
